Angela has been a certified reflexologist since 2001.  She obtained her certification through the International Institute of Reflexology where she studied the original Ingham Method.  Having attended 48 hours of workshop study, 52 hours of home study, books and video and recorded 100+ hours of documented sessions she was then able to take a written and practical exam.

Besides her certification with the IIR, she became board certified though the American Reflexology Certification Board (ARCB) in 2004.  In addition to being nationally certified and meeting the standard requirements, Angela then completed an additional 90 documented sessions before taking another written and practical exam.

In addition to being Nationally Board Certified, she is required to obtain CEU’s on a regular basis.  With this experience and knowledge she can locate all reflex areas of the feet and hands that correspond to different organs and glands in the body.

Angela learned about reflexology at a Community College several years ago where she took courses in health, nutrition and human anatomy and physiology.   This is where she learned of the International Institute of Reflexology and began her studies.

She has had her own practice in the past and has worked in a health clinic south of Boston.  Since the birth of her second child she has been busy at home.  The time has come where reflexology is needed more than ever.  CAM (Complementary and Alternative Therapies) are becoming more significant in people’s lives in addition to medical treatments.   April, 2009 marked a milestone for reflexologists in New Hampshire.    It is the third state to have its own licensing law.  There are also 29 states that are exempt from massage laws and reflexology is being recognized as its own profession.

In addition to being Nationally Board Certified Angela also holds a Reflexology License with the State of New Hampshire.  She moved to Salem, NH in 2002 and is married to her husband Billy with two children Ryan 11, and Sophia 6.  She enjoys running, biking, kick boxing and practices tai chi and qi gong.
